Small town charm with nice seasonal festivals/events. Kid loves to stop and dip their toes in the lake and run around when we hit the nearby shops. Ex: 2 chicks, Webbs,

Celtic Festival and Gathering of the Clans. Great time! Explore your history and enjoy a pint or two! Don't think there were many moments that you couldn't hear a bagpipe somewhere.

As of Nov 2017 there's now a "Lakeside Bark" dog park across the street.

I love walking around this park. It's well lit at night. It was a nice gazebo, benches to sit, picnic tables, grills. It has basketball & tennis courts. There's a community room (can be rented) with public bathrooms. In summer there's an outside shower to wash off the sand. There's a nice playground for the little ones.

Glad to be able to use the boat launch in October. Some floating docks are out at other launches.

I LOVE Lakeside Park. There are free concerts in the gazebo July and August on Thursday nights with food offered by the local fire departments. Really beautiful setting right on the lake looking at the docking slip for the Chautauqua Belle. Plenty of shade, seating, beach and beach house. I think it's the best on the Lake.
